About

So when is a band, not a band? -

Hi I’m Kyle Rigsby the solo artist behind Old Foes.
I wrote and recorded the “band’s” music. I performed the rhythm, bass, and some lead guitar tracking, as well as the vocals for each track. Drumming provided by Jeremy Robertson (IG @jrobdrumsofficial) of the band “Rosabella” (@rosabellabaltimore) and virtuoso lead guitar playing by Eric McCullough (@oneofthedarkones) of “Isilme” (@islime_music) and SMANTX (@smantxband).

To give the album that professional feel I relied on the help of engineer Tony Corelli at The DeepEnd Studios in Baltimore, MD. (@thedeependstudio)

After years of making excuses I wondered: “When I am old and looking back on my life… would I regret never making music?” YES!!!

So what am I?
I’m a ROCK STAR BABY! I love rock music of all styles: Hard, soft, alternative, indie, punk, progressive, heavy metal and heavier metal.

I thought since my taste in music is incredibly diverse for a “rock fan” and if most people also don’t listen to one style of music, why can’t my body-of-work be (a little) diverse as well?

THE debut ALBUM “Old Foes”
The self-titled album “Old Foes” released as

So now what?
With the support of my lovely wife Cathy and some talented friends who helped me fill in the gaps, Old Foes is my aspiration made reality. For the time being I have my 9 to 5 job to go to and a mortgage to pay. As a self-published, independent artist I work as much as I can to keep the ship sailing. I see a long road ahead, but I plan to see it through.

For now I’m a solo artist. Like all creative, aspiring people I hope that I’ll be able to dedicate my time and attention to creativity. For now, stay tuned and I hope you like what you hear.
